My first Job!!!!!
I really don't know .. where to start from...
It was in the year 2004 that I completed my Post graduation....and the campus recruitments were on, in the college in full swing.....All of us were really excited about getting the best offer from the best firm....and guess what? ......I got one of the best offer's from one of the leading companies.. as an HR Recruiter...Ooh.... I was kind of really excited and thrilled... Rushed back home to Tell my parents that I made it into one of the leading MNC's ...But unfortunately, everything went haywire...I did not take up the offer.... Because circumstances does not let me to take up the offer.... I continued with my studies.... Completed my MBA 3rd n 4th sem....in the yr 2005 n started looking out for good opengings again .....hmmmm and the Miracle happens....
I got a call from one of the leading consultants for an opening with one of the leading search engines...But I kind of not impressed with the job profile.. or rather never wanted to deviate from my focus....always wanted to get into the field of HR.....So, I turned down the offer...and ofcourse I believe in myself..... n I had a gutt feeling tht the profile really does not match my interests....
And guess what happ'd after I turned down the offer....The very next day.. I got a call from the Same recruitment firm...asking me to come down for an interview for their internal Job opening...Me excited again...Apply for the post....and take up the offer...and Start recruiting for the ITES sector....
It's been almost 10 months since I have started working for ths firm....and has been enjoying every moment of it....I feel proud to be an HR....
"I feel great when I place people in different firms....Everytime I see a smile.. The joy on my candidates face...I feel proud...Everytime somebody thanks me for getting them a job.. I feel Blessed....Everytime I guide somebody....I feel I m doing Justice....Everytime I groom somebody ... I take it as a pleasure....Everytime I am given a new task....I take it as a challenge...Everytime I mentor somebody...I feel honoured..."
What are we living for....Happiness?....and if one wants to be happy....Be self motivated....Love whatever you do... I love my work ....and I shall Love it for ever!
